If you've just bought a 4x2
V8 regular cab short bed Dak,
and it's snowing outside
tonight, how much weight
in sandbags do you put in
the back (for the rush hour
commute :)), and should it all
be to the very back or over the
rear axle ?

Message: I use 4x70 lbs of sand in the winter I made up
retainer for the bed of the truck out of 2x4's
that keep the bags located OVER the rear axel.
Even with open rear end I have gone through about
14" of snow without getting stuck. My driveway
is 100ft.long and I had to get to work.
