Message: Well, I finally did it. Traded in my 02 Dakota QC Sport Plus for a Jeep last week. I just wanted to take a second to mention a couple items that I would recommend for the DAK, after having them on my truck for 8+ years. First is the MagnaFlow muffler. Nice mellow sound overall, but at WOT, it sounded like a Dirt Track Stock Car. Very nice. It lasted until last year before a seam rusted out. I then replaced it with a Flowmaster Series 40, which was way louder than I would like. The second item worth mentioning is the Peragon Tonneau cover. This is the 'accordion' type cover that slides out of the way and can be removed altogether very easily. It's also lockable, which was very convenient when used with a tailgate lock (which, unfortunately succumbed to the Western PA winters every year and needed replaced [tailgate lock]). The service at Peragon was great. Had a problem with the powder coat on my first cover, called them, they acknowledged it, and provided a more than adequate remedy to the problem. I'm not affiliated in any way, just wanted to give some credit where credit is due.
