Subject: greasing the tie rods and chassis IP: Logged
Message: ok, I'm using a haynes repair manual and wanted to lube my greasing the tie rods, ball joint and chassis... The manual even shows a picture of what they look like. However, they are no where to be found on my truck (2000 dodge dakota sport 3.9L 2wd v6). can you help me find them?
also i picked up multi purpose lithium greese, will this do for the job?
thanks

Message: Not really. If you want to lube something under there, you could spray some silicone lube on the sway bar bushings and upper & lower control arm bushings but it is not necessary.

Message: Get a needle for greasing at the auto parts store and grease you tie rods and ball joints that way. It works well.
