Message: Hate to burst your bubble, But you can relax. The trucks are not worth much. I find several of them for sale every year. It was a meager attempt to boost sales. "Indy 500 edition" means as much to the Dak as "Eddie Bauer edition" means to a ford.
If it was an "Official Pace Car" Well then you'd be talking. With all that said your truck is worth about $1,300 to $1,750 depending on condition.
Here's one for 1500

Message: I thought "Eddie Bauer Edition" indicated a Ford was 'loaded' with All the Bells & Whistles (leather, pwr everything, premium sound/ wheels etc.)
If that's the case, is the Indy 500 edition fully loaded (for the `87 model year), or does it just have the decals down the sides and on the tailgate?
Maybe the Indianapolis area Dodge dealers got together with the track to work an advertizing deal? An older dealership, Public Affairs Office at the track itself, or those guys answering questions in the Sunday paper (auto section) may be of more accurate help.
