Subject: clear lights.. what a difference! IP: Logged
Message: We finally had some nice weather in Georgia this weekend. I finally installed my clear headlights, bumper lights and tail lights that have been sitting around for a couple weeks.
Along with the clear headlights I installed silverstar ultra su lights.. man what HUGE difference.
for the parking lights I installed some 3157 NA lights. the NA is natural amber. The lenses are amber colored.
Now my 02 dakota has new lights all around including fog lights. I picked up all the replacment lenses on ebay for around $280 including shipping. New bulbs (4 for parking) and 2 new headlights for around $55 including tax were purchased at my local advance auto.
335 for all is a great investment in my opinion. No more spotty night vision, no more dingy lenses!

Message: Glad to hear it worked out so well for you Dan. Do you have pics of the clear lenses? I also put in the Silverstar Ultra's in my 01 and I agree they work great, but I replaced the lenses with OE lenses from the dealer. I couldn't find any aftermarket lenses here. I use Meguiar's yellow #2 carnuba wax on the lenses to keep the sun from deteriorating in the sun. I installed the Pilot 119 fog light kit on my Dakota this weekend. I found it for a decent price at a truck accessories store and the lights really helped my night vision too, especially with tinted windows. Sure is good to be able to see so much better at night now. Glad to know it worked out for you too.
Where are you in GA? I am originally from Athens and I have family in Atlanta and Macon, but I have been here in Florida since 1991.

Message: Jimmy,
no pictures yet, I need to find where my wife put our camera. I bought all of the lights from ebay. here is a link for the same set of headlight and bumper lights I have.

as I said i installed the 3157 NA lights for parking. I kept the turn signal light the same as the replacement lense was also amber.
as for the fog lights, I bought a new OEM pair, my truck came with factory fog lights.
Here is a link to the tail lights. Actually, this is the same vendor I bought mine from.

I live about 25 miles north of Atlanta.
When I installed them they needed almost no adjustment.
