Subject: tiny rust hole IP: Logged
Message: hey i got a small rust hole in the bed of my truck (about the size of a dime)and i was wondering of any suggestions you guys got to repair this. i know the whole bondo thing but i was hoping to hear some new ideas. thanks.
rest of the truck is in great shape.

Message: You could cut the damage out, and weld in some fresh metal.
When you say you "know the whole bondo thing", did you consider riviting a metal patch underneath the hole, the dimpling down the rivits before you bondo ?

Message: it might be hard to get a patch underneath the location but i might have to put a fresh piece of metal and do it that way though. the location is right above the driver wheel well inside the bed.
