Subject: what size tires for these rims? IP: Logged
Message: ive never bought tires before so i need some help.
what is the smallest all terrain tire i can put on 15"x8" rims? im thinkin of getting BFG ta ko's but i dunno what size to get.
also, whats the largest tire i could put on a 2000 3.9 5spd reg cab that isnt lifted at all?

Message: well if your a 4x4 and you want stock they're 31x10.50x15's...if you want to crank your torsions you can fit 32x11.50x15's I've got the same setup assuming your 4wd. Some people have said they've gotten away w/out cranking the torsion bars for the 32's but you're gonna have some rubbing. hope this helps.

is there a cheap and easy way to lift it a little bit?

Message: Body lift for around $200. Then maybe you could fit some 32's. dunno if coil overs and blocks in the back would work or not but with the bodylift you should be able to fit the 31's. Just a guess though maybe someone else on here will be able to shed some light on the subject.

Message: just an update...
i was pretty sure the tires that are on the new (to me) rims wouldnt fit but i tried them anyways. they fit with about 1/2" clearance when cranked over both ways with no rubbing at all.
makes my little truck look badass...lol. but they are too big so im goin with something a little smaller.
btw...the tires im talkin about are 31x10.5 and they actually fit on the little dakota.
