Message: im in the process of rebuilding my 318 when the machine shop found a crack in the block. it is by one of the holes for the head bolts. i havent seen it but i was told i could use it. but if it is easy enough i wanted to do a 360 swap. all i need is a long block cause i have another motor. but will the computer work? its a mopar pcm if that matters. will injectors work? TB? converter? pulleys and brackets? electrical? what all do i need to change?

Message: You need a flexplate for 1996 or newer 360 Magnum, or have the proper weight added to your 318 unit. All the bolt-ons and electrical will work. The computer needs to be for a 360.
Or, you could have a decent welder repair the crack and re-tap the affected bolt hole in the 318.
