Subject: hot jet coated manifolds? IP: Logged
Message: Hello, i have a 2003 with the 4.7. I have a new pair of manifolds that i want to swap for my leaking originals. I'm just wondering if it is possible to ceramic coat or hot jet coat stock manifolds
Thanks

Message: You can ceramic coat anything that can withstand the process. So the answer is, yes, you can.
But, do you want to? No question, they do look better. But I doubt you'll see any real performance increase.

Message: I'm not doing it for any performance gains. I just want to replace the old ones that are leaking and have broken bolts. Hoping for slightly cooler truck temps in the summer as well.
