Subject: Since you guys... IP: Logged
Message: fixed my problem with my fan maybe you can help with another problem. By the way I want to thank you all for the advice. I changed the blower motor resistor and it is actually better than new seems to be stronger. Anyway, my 2003 CC V6 seems to be losing coolant. I can't seem to see where it is leaking. But, I have had the problem a couple of times where truck would overheat, I would check the resovoir and it would be bone dry. This has happened twice over the past 4 months. Any ideas???

Message: Have you checked to see if the coolant is in the oil?
If so then you have a real problem.

Message: someone else just had that problem and it turned out they had a bad radiator cap. That's easier to fix than blown head gasket which is the problem if you find coolant in the oil - your oil will look foamy. A bad cap will cause overheating and coolant may bubble out the top.
