The caliper stud has stripped the threads in my knuckle. I read that the proper threads for the helicoil for 92-95 is 8mm x 1.25, and the 97 is 9mm x 1.25, but I havent seen anything on the 96. I would assume that it would be 8mm, but I can not just be certain. Does anyone have a definitive answer on this? I also saw a post for a self tapping stud that is sold at NAPA. Is there an advantage to one over the other?

Thanks!

Jason
