Does anyone have one of the generic Air Intake systems from Ebay on their truck? I am thinking about getting one but I don't know if they would work with a 3 inch body lift...any info on these intakes would be nice... I saw one that came with the K&N filter but im not sure if they are worth the 50 bucks or not if I get it and it will be a bad fitting piece of crap..please any info would be nice

It would go off road until it high centered on the first rock or mound :)

I am not sure which pipe you are talking about. But if it is just a piece of pipe with a filter on the end, it's probably going to suck enough HOT air from under the hood that it would negate any improvement over the stock air intake.

So far I have not really noticed any improvement from various experimental intake systems.
Recently I actually put my STOCK air intake box back on and sealed it to that hole in the fender it takes air from.
The ONLY thing I left changed other than that is the air hat and flex rubber connector is replaced by a 3" ABS elbow and some NO HUB (Fernco brand) rubber couplers to keep the air smooth.

Maybe I'll take an updated picture and post it later.

I have to admit, I've UNDONE many of mods that didn't prove worthy...
