Subject: A/C Problem IP: Logged
Message: Hi I have a 99 Dak. v8 5.2 4x4 and recently have had some problems . A/C works Ice Cold perfect for only 10 min or so then goes just medium warm, it really sucks. What I did observe is that when the AC stops working I go look at the AC unit under the hood and the Clutch (*i think if its the part just at the front of the AC Unit) stops SPinning. Any ideas why this is stopping after 10 mins ? Could it be a SENSOR or the actual AC unit itself or.... Any ideas would be appreciated . Thx Todd

Or there is a blockage in the system.
There are Low and High switches that will stop the compressor.
Need to find a friend with a gauge set.
