I examined the EGR on my 1994 and discovered something amazing...
The top metal tube is SOLID, as in NOT a hole in it.
There is a vac line attached, but I guess it has not worked for 12 years. ???
Hey guys, look at your EGR and tell me what you see.

A buddy of mine just pulled the premag 3.9 out of his 89 covertable dak and replaced it with the 96 5.2 we rebuilt. I was looking at the P.O.S. EGR system it, and happened to pull the EGR tube off...it had about a pin sized hole because of all the deposits in it.
If it doesn't fit, you're using the wrong hammer!
