Message: I have 2001 Quad Cab with 4.7L and automatic transmission. At 6500 miles on the clock, the A/C compressor has burned up. Has anyone else experienced compressor problems?

Message: Well,
I have a very old Dak, 87 to be exact. My A/C doesn't work all that great. The compressor works hard as it has since it was new, but it still works. My mechanic said that Dodge A/c's especially old ones, don't work very well, but they last the longest of any other kind. With that being said,
Any company makes bad products every once in awhile. Maybe yours is just a "lemon"...
