Message: A great deal of how-to-fix-it will depend on where the leak is:
Fluid connection at the rack?
Leak out an end boot?
Oozing through a crack in the housing?

Message: I'm guess a crack in the housing. the return line hose was crack and i replaced it hoped it was the problem. it help but didn't solve the leak, so i'm just curious if anyone else out there had this problem and if it was the housing. all the house lines look good, i haven't checked the boots yet so i will.
does anyone else have or had a leaky rack-and-pinion or steering pump?
