Message: I have a 01 4.7l dak and as of the last few weeks its been stalling alot, it seems to do it when im comming to a stop and expecialy when the engine gets a bit of strain on it such as turning. Just wondering if i should be looking at the IAC or mabie something like a fuel pump going?

Message: I'd be looking at the IAC...if it's an auto, does it also try and stall when shifting from park to any gear or shifting from reverse to drive, etc?

Message: You are probably right, the IAC is gummed up.
You know, our tranny doesn't seem to load the RPM's at all when putting in gear so he may not notice a problem there.
But turning the wheel (power steering) and coming to stops sure sounds like the IAC.
Get some O2 safe carb and TB cleaner and you can start off with the air intake tube removed spraying it down the slotted hole on the bottom of the TB inlet and goosing the throttle open and shut to move the IAC valve.
Once it frees up you should notice a difference.
Now it COULD be a fouled plug or something else. But chances are the IAC.
Especially if you have no lost power and no vibration when yholding a steady speed.
