Message: has anyone herd of doing this?
instaling a glasspack and runing it on the highway to get it hot then comming home putting a water hose in it to cool it off quickly breaking the elements inside it. my uncle said he did this to his f150 and it sounds better. is he full of it or not?

Message: I like the way my glasspack sounds... any louder and it would be too loud for my taste... why waste your time ruining one when you could just install a straight piece of pipe?

Message: I think the muffler Chrysler put on my 2001 QC is a glass pack. At least, that is what the website said at that time. It has been slowly getting louder over the past 4 years, but there is no rust to account for that.
