Subject: Towing vs not towing 4.7 MPG IP: Logged
Message: Hey all,
I just drove waaaay down to Texas from Illinois to move my girlfriend's stuff... all the way down I got 16.8 mpg, when down there we got a trailer. after loading it weighed about 2500 lbs. We drove all the way back up and got 14.2 mpg. So at any rate it wasn't a big hit at all.. just in case anyone was wondering what difference towing was on a broad scale like that.

Message: I'd think the answer would be 0 miles to the gallon.. if she decides to go back to texas she can buy her own dakota to move things with. Or she can buy a Ford ranger, that's like a 1 time use truck, kinda like disposable cameras.

Message: From far north IL, almost Wisconsin. By the Six Flags Great America... we drove through St. Louis though, got some neat pics of the arch. We should find all the Illinoisians and get together somewhere in the middle of the state for a meeting and barbeque.
