Subject: Snowplow for 1/2nd Gen Dak?

Just a shot in the dark here, but I could sure use either a complete snowplow to fit a 94 Dakota 4x4, or even the truck mounted undercarriage....I can then hunt up the appropriate plow. Located in Northern IN, it would be nice if it was a complete unit to be within driving distance.....THX!

I'm in the NW hills of CT and we normally get the heaviest accumulations in the state when it snows. I plow with my 96 V8 4x4, and have been able to push 2-3 feet of snow with the truck with no problem. Just need to load the bed with some sand to add a little weight. The truck is a little too light without a couple of hundred pounds of sand in the back.

It should plow 1' excellent. I plow 2' and more good, the deflector plate helps keep the deep stuff from coming over the top. Best to plow with the storm if you can though; a 2' storm is a major one.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

I use a snowbear plow. snowbear.com. It is a light duty plow which is good for a gen 1 dakota. In my opinion it is a good choice for doing your own driveway. It is not a commerical type setup. I have plowed a foot of snow successfully.
