hi guyz.. I want to powder coat my 17" R/T rims yellow > about how much would powder coating 4 rims cost???? would it be determinded by colour? i want mine to be yellow... ball-park range of cost for 4 rims plaese! $100-200, $200-400, $500-800, $800+????

Do not know what it cost to have it done but Sears has a powder coat kit on sale for $160.$140 if a Craftsman Club member.Don't know what the paint cost.Would need an old Electric oven to cure it in.

around here in the DFW area it's about $40-45 a wheel.

But with the Craftsman kit you have to have an oven big enuf to bake the paint!

The local shops I know of charge about $50 per wheel for powdercoating. The coating itself isn't very expensive, it's the labor for stripping/prepping the wheel for a new coating.

yeah, i've heard $40-75 per wheel depending on the shop, the color/texture, and the prep.
