Message: Anyone know a good replacement shock for a 99 4x2 ext cab dakota?? My crappy factory front left one is dripping oil. I don't want a radical stiff riding off road shock, just a good quality replacement that rides like the stock ones or better.........might as well replace all four now....

Message: I replaced the ones on my 98 4x2 5.2 CC with Edelbrock IAS shocks and love them. Big difference in the ride.

Message: If its street use you seek, I would go with Monroe shocks. About $35 each.

Message: I recently replaced the shocks on my 97 with Edelbrock IAS's So far I am happy with them. The street ride is firm, controlled and not overly stiff. Going over speed bumps and pothols the shocks open up and smooth out the ride. I find them to be a great truck shock. To sum up, firm control on the smooth and absorbs the big hits.
