Subject: Paint IP: Logged
Message: I'm repainting my fender flares, rear bumper pads and my grille. How do you find the paint # so I can by the right color at the auto parts store? Thanks

That's the most typical location.
Maybe in the glove box as well, but never looked there. Some cars I have even found the sticker in the trunk LOL!
I've never looked for it on a Dakota. But if no one else answers, I'd try looking in the door jam first.
Napa auto or the likes can mix the paint per that number. And if you can't find the number. you STILL may be able to get Napa to get it for you since for a certain year there MAY be only one color description like what you have. Other times there could be 3 or more different combinations of a similar color.

Message: The paint code would be on the sticker in your glove box.
That's where mine was. Can't remember if it was on my door or not, though!!!
