Subject: Where to buy New Control arms IP: Logged
Message: Any suggestions on getting new oem type control arms for a 94 4x4? I figure I'll compare prices before I order from a junk yark and get who knows what showing up and having to remove and replace the bushings, ball joints etc...

Message: What makes you think you need control arms? The upper control arm has replaceable bushings. Ball joint is also replaceable. Hitting curbs at 40 mph?

Message: long story short, took of one upper, drilled holes in the wrong part of arm to remove bushings, i'd feel better with a new/replaced arm, one that's not drilled. when removing the other side's shock, the bolt snapped off in the lower control arm, and after loosing a couple drill bits and then breaking of an easy out, I gave up, so i am going to replace the lower arm on that side.
