Message: Lug nuts, that is...
I buggered up the metal cover on a lug nut from my 03 QC and decided to get one from the dealer.
$11.90
I didn't buy it.

Message: geez! I thought I got ripped off... I had to pay 6.10 for a lug nut from the dealer, and 11.20 for a PCV valve!! (and they had to ORDER the PCV valve!! :)
Then I find out that the tire dealer I go to, has jlugs in my size for .70 a piece.. and they are SOLID, not the pos capped nuts that come with the truck...

Message: 24 x $.70 = $16.80 for a complete set of chrome lug nuts
or
$12 for one OEM fake chrome lug nut
That's a tough decision,,, looks like I am heading down to the tire shop

Message: Been there. Done that. Go to an auto parts store that carries McGard lug nuts. 4 to a pack for like $25.00. Still high but way better.

Message: Just go to RockAuto and order the Dorman/Motormite lug nuts for (I think) $2.10 each, you will have to get a box of 10 for $21. As far as I can tell, these are same as OEM, they look absolutely identical.
Size was 1/2"x20 (3/4" head) for my truck, ought to be same for all as far as I know.
I got a couple from NAPA for $5/ea recently, but they were 13/16" head, which will cause a problem if you have a flat on the roadside.
