Can someone please inform me if they received a letter or anything from Chrysler regarding their ball joints. My dealer says he has heard nothing that they are recalling/extending the warranty on them in Canada. I cannot understand why they would recall/extend the warranty in the US, but not do the same in Canada? Thanks.

fellow canadian, i did not recieve a letter in the mail either, i simple typed my vin number into the dodge website and there was the recall. what u need to do is call your dealer and tell them there is a recall on the upper balljoints and u would like to give them your vin number so they can confirm this. that is what i did a month ago and the repair was complete , make sure u tell them to set the toe as that is required. I don't know why u or i didn't recieve a letter. hope this helps

Thanks for the help Deaver, but I tried Daimler Chrysler with my vin # and nothing showed. I have talked to my dealer and he is waiting for Daimler to act as well. He is not even sure if they will be extending the warranty in Canada. Dont know how they could recall/extend the warranty in one country and not another? Same truck and made in Michigan.

I went to my dealer here in BC on another matter and they told me about the recall on my truck for the upper ball joints and the wiper motor assem. Just tell them to re check their computer.
