Subject: Tail Light Out IP: Logged
Message: If anyone could give me some advice here...
My driver's side tail light went out. It was noticed when I got my oil changed. They replaced the bulb for me quick but told me it still was not working. "Must be a short somewhere in the wire." I went home, went under the truck, looked over the wiring and found no signs of corrosion. I even put a new bulb in just in case they just put a bad bulb in. No luck. My brake light works fine still, just no tail light. Any suggestions? By the way, it's a 98.

Message: Are you equipped with trailer tow wiring? If so, inspect the connections and wiring harness for it. Look for corrosion and/or damaged wiring and connections.
