Subject: Clunking Sound Front End IP: Logged
Message: Whenever I'm taking a corner and there is a bump I hear a clunking noise and feel it somewhat on the floorboard. Usually when I'm pulling into the driveway or taking a corner from a stop when there are bumps. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? I was leaning toward ball joints however I recently had a brake job done and while the wheels were off the mechanic inspected that and they seem O.K. Any ideas???

Message: i had the same symptom on my '00 QC @ 28K. upon further inspection, i found the front shocks had blown their seals. replaced them and the "clunking" went away.
