Message: I have a 97 regular cab dakota and I have a question about a cable. It is a small cable that comes up through the floorboard underneath the driver seat. On the end, it has a plug with 2 or 3 pins (cant remember right now). There, the cable can be separated. The rest of hides somewhere underneath the middle section of the seats. I have no idea what this cable is for. I have, however, noticed that on several occassions it has come apart and who knows what may have or is supposed to happen. Anyway thought someone here could me to locate some info on that cable.

Message: Sounds like it is for you seatbelts. When you start your truck up without the seat belt on do you get a alarm?

Message: I have one behind the rear plate on my 01. Anyone know what this is and where the other end terminates? I'll be towing a small trailer and it would be nice to bring 12V back to operate a lamp module. There are no connections at the fuses for trailer options.

Message: I've got a 2000 CC R/T with that same connector. It's not the seat belt warning, 'cause that's hooked up, it's not power seat or anything like that, either.
Does anyone know what this is for? 4WD something, maybe...

Message: Maybe part of the CD option package I believe you
can order when new or later. You input several
CD's in the unit.
I had one in a 01 full size Ram. I never used it.
