Message: Yeah, I got one of those cards too. It was a few weeks ago, maybe even a couple months. Sounded too fishy to me so I pitched it. I figured it was some stupid extended warranty company trying to reel me in.
I learned my lesson from Warranty Gold. Cost me over $1200 to get an extended warranty for my Dakota and then the company folded the same year I purchased the damn warranty. Not much I can do to get back my $1200. I'm basically screwed.

Message: I've seen those before. Unless it specifically states in the fine print that it's from DC, then it's a third party warrenty service. Usually a big waste of money.

Message: Nope. The last time I got something from D-C regarding any recalls, it was in an envelope, not a card.
I'm guessing this is an extended warranty pitch. I got a ton of cards right before the warranty on my Dakota ran out earlier this year.

Message: I've gotten the same card a few weeks ago. Both for my wifes car and my 2003 DAK. It's a scam by a third party to get y ou to extend with them.

Message: It's not a scam, but it IS a third party company attempting to sell you a sevice contract. My experience has been this...the ones that solicite through the mail and DO NOT require complete vehicle inspection prior to coverage are not worth the $$$$ they charge.
