Message: i've used turtle wax, meguires, and a bunch of the cheapo kinds. turtle wax gives good results as does meguires. the best i've used so far was a first coat of meguires cleaner wax, then a coat of meguires NXT generation wax. looked like a really expensive paintjob. the next i'm going to try is the meguires gold class wax. the way it looked to me, was that the turtle wax makes it shine more and the meguires gives it a nice shine, but makes it deeper looking. that's just my experience with it.

Message: I would have to agree with 03kota. The NXT Generation kicks a. Even removed a bunch of smaller scratches i had from off-roading.

Message: I don't really like to wax any of my cars and
truck. I use to spend up to $100.00 each to let
the so called pro's do the job. A few years ago I
got my Dakota back from a pro job and noticed
the rocker panels still had dirt on them.
After that I started doing the job myself. After
trying a few different name brands of waxes, I was
in Advance Auto Parts one day looking to buy more
when I picked up a bottle of Zymol cleaner wax.
One guy behind the counter told me that if I
didn't like the way it went on and easy buff and
shine, bring the rest back for a full refund.
He was 100% right! It's the easiest to put on and
with my $20.00 super cheepie buffer from Big Lots,
it's the easiest to take off. And the protection
is great! Yes, you still need a buff rag for the
hard to get at places.
Try it Jag. It's not cheep. About $12.00 a 16oz
bottle but well worth it.

Message: Turtle Wax, but the Carnuba Wax, not the base product. Very easy to apply and buff off. I've also used Meguiars, both Gold Class and their cleaner wax, and Mother's Cleaner Wax. Of the lot, I'm still partial to Turtle Wax Carnuba, but any of the brands mentioned will do a nice job for you.
