Has anyone been able to locate a 2005 Dakota with a Manual transmission? I really want a V8 with the six speed but it seems impossible to find. I've checked dealer inventories all over the country without success. The same thing happened when I bought my 04 and I ended up getting a V6 because it was the only way I could find a manual transmission. Any advice? Is it possible to order one special?? Any help would be appreciated.

The six speed isn't available yet. Probably not for another 3-4 months.

imho 2 overdrives are a bit much.a good 5 speed s all thats needed.

I had a Formula with the 6 speed, double overdrive trans and getting 24 mpg with 305 hp was nice.
