Message: Is the K&N FIPK 2 the best filter for a 4.7 in a 00 Dakota CC 4x4.? I really want to invest in some type of air intake system, and I have seen so many, but havent been impressed with much, this one seems kinda expensive compared to others, but is it worth the money?

Message: Its hard to say which cold air kit is the best. K&N does have dyno results on their website for a stock 4.7. Their customer service is also the best around. Do you have any other mods done to your truck? I think the dyno results are about 7 hp for the FIPK. Any cold air intake will also make your truck much louder compared to the stock set up. Its a matter of taste.

Message: No other mods on my truck. Just bought it last week with 37k miles and I want to put some kind of intake on it, and i know that some cone filters make a loud sucking noise, but I want some kind of intake that gets rid of that stock box.
