Message: I installed the same combo on my 99 cc about 25,000 miles ago and things are just fine. Yes, the OEM rotors went to cr@p. Stops mucho better! Anyway, you should be able to pick up a set (rotors and hawk pads) for about $250/$300 shipped from the usual websites. Check ebay too. I thought I just saw some today. Good luck!

Message: I used Raybestos BruteStop drilled and slotted rotors with a set of Raybestos Superstop pads instead of the Powerslot/Hawk HPS combo. The Raybestos setup has been my truck for a year, about 30K, and still working great. Only drawback is occasional brake squeel, but I have heard of this problem with the Hawk pads also. I purchased the parts from rockauto.com for under $200.

Message: Have the powerslots/NAPA ceramix pads on wife's grand cherokee for about 20k now.Only had 1 problem with powerslot.
I had put those brake dust shields on wheels to stop the black dusting, they caused the powerslots to warp at about 7k.
I just had the rotors replaced on my 04 dak with 15k, dealer hit me up for $50 after a lot of bitching.
I would expect that powerslots are in the Daks future.

Message: I thought I had seen the Powerslot/Hawks sold as a combo package at rockauto.com, but now I don't see either one of them available for a 2k dodge.

Message: ned, I bought the Raybestos brake setup from rockauto.com, they might have switched suppliers since you looked. No need to carry 2 different MFG's for drilled or slotted rotors. When I bought these a year ago for my 2K, I didn't see Powerslots or Hawk pads listed.
Oh, when I mentioned brake squeel it only happens about once a month, lasts for a day, then goes away.

Message: Hey Sam, do you know any of the discount codes for the socaldakota site? I think I may just upgrade my brakes if I can squeeze it in the budget. thx
