Subject: M1 Intake IP: Logged
Message: I was looking into buying the M1 2bbl but i dont know which one to get, because one comes with the EGR and another one doesn't and oi'm not talkin about the 4bbl. How do you know which one to get? What is an EGR first of all?
I have a 2001 R/T CC.

Message: Exhaust Gas Recirculation.....not for you, if it's going on a 2001. EGR went away in 1996 when OBDII came in.

Message: You can still use the EGR version. You just have to put an NPT pipe plug in the hole at the bottom of the intake. The installation instructions even cover this, and a plug is included with the installation kit.
The EGR version is usually about $10 more than the non EGR version, but I have heard that they are getting hard to find. When I ordered mine they still had a number of the EGR versions only, which is what I needed anyway.
