Message: Hey guys I have a 98 dak CC and i wanted to know if anyone had a good spot to hide the amp. i was think under the seat but im not sure if that is enough air for it. any suggestions??

Message: Well.. my installer said that he could hide an amp behind the plastic panels in the back (on the sides) with some minor modifications, however if you did that, you wouldn't have any access to it to change the gains or the crossover settings...

Message: I put mine under the front seats with no problems. I have two Precision Power amps, and they went in pretty nice, one under each seat. I used a separate crossover and put it on the driveshaft hump in the center under the seat, the knobs stick out about a quarter inch, just enough so I can adjust it easy. I usually have my cupholders open, so you can't even tell its there.
The amps seem to stay cool enough, even with the limited airflow. My thermal protection cicuit hasn't kicked in yet, and its been in the 90's here for a couple of weeks.
