Subject: Need Rotors Today!! IP: Logged
Message: Well List,
How 'bout some help for a fellow Dak owner with a real problem.
It's a 97 SLT V6 2WD and needs rotors TODAY!
Can't cut his any more or wait for Powerslots or anything shipped.
Any suggestions on brands from Poop Boys, Napa, etc.
Maybe not the approach we'd take but he's in a predicament(sp?).
TIA

Message: 2 days ago, I put a new set of Bendix rotors on my 93 Dakota that I bought from Advance Auto Parts. The cost was $75/ea. They had to order them, but took less than a day to come in. Don't mess with the cheap rotors. They're thin and warp quickly, and can't be cut. Go with the name brands. You'll pay more, but it'll be cheaper in the long run, and work better. Hope this helps

Message: Thanks Tom,
Yea, that's the price range I suggested to him(course I got the Powerslots in the Group Buy but I have time on my side).
Anyway he was able to get his brakes done last night along with our kind of tune-up(3923's,BW cap /rotor, etc.) and he's happy.
Thanks again for the reply.

Message: I hope im not doing anything wrong here, but i contacted Truckperformance.com for Powerslot rotors and I apologize for not catching his name, but he's at ext.226. He said if we get 5 buys he can give them to us for 79.00, I think thats what the first buy was at. All we need is 5 people.
Thanks
