Message: checked connection, don't know how to check solenoid,
rebuilt trans. should be new. could it be the transm. throttle linkage not adjusted right? shifts smooth, just no overdrive. put rebuilt on with new torque converter and put in 5qrts. of fluid and dip stick says full, test drove and around town, checked 20x and still full.

Message: any warranty on the tranny?

Message: I had a problem with the OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR in my 99 dakota. It looks like not much more than a plug that goes into the passenger side of the transmission. (This sensor is not to be confused with another sensor that is on the rear differential.)
