Message: Hello, got the parts from Randy's ring an pinion. The labor cost me i think 675 at the shop. I would recommend the Richmond precision gears. I did not buy them and i wish i had.
Hey the dude. Do you frequent the Hanger or Rafters? My truck is usually hanging out around there. Two of my favorite hangouts. Gotta love those wings. Hey, how old are you guys? I'm 24.

"(5) Muffler and Exhaust System. Accelerate motor to test for prevention of unnecessary noise and emission of any unreasonable amount of smoke. The exhaust system, exhaust manifold(s), exhaust pipe(s), muffler(s), and tailpipe(s), if designed to be so equipped, shall be tight and free of leaks. System components shall be securely fastened with fasteners in place and undamaged. All motor vehicle exhaust systems shall discharge the exhaust beyond operator, passenger, and/or trunk compartment. Unnecessary noise is herein defined as any noise which is louder than that emitted by the vehicle when equipped with the original manufacturer's equipment. A gas or diesel vehicle will be rejected if, at normal operating temperature, at any constant speed over 15 MPH, (approximately 1,000 to 1,200 RPM's) visible black or blue exhaust emissions are evident."
Damn. How do they know what is louder than original? Does the inspector have a tuned ear and a great memory?
I had this BS once, with a star-shaped crack on the passenger side of the windshield. A Texaco station failed me, even though it wasn't in my line of vision, and it wasn't expanding. Other stations passed it.
What gets me is paying $29 every year, regardless of the fact that emissions testing is only required every other year. They're stealing milllions from us, and you can't tell me they can't set up a lesser fee for those years that are safety-only inspections.

Message: Yeah. Hanger/Rafters have great food and some hottie waitresses. I like Amherst Brewing Co too. I always park across the street from Rafters (where the laundromat and Gold's Gym are) and catch the bike trail (I try to ride at lease once or twice a week, but I've really been slacking this summer).
I'm 22.

Message: nice, i'm usually in the lot where that pizza shop and tanning salon is. I can't walk that far to the hanger. I'm a powerlifter that's just way to much cardio for me. I'll have to keep an eye for your truck or listen for that "loud" exhaust.

Message: Dude,
I got the Proxes too. Sick tires, huh? HUGE improvement over stock GY wranglers. I stuffed 265 under my 01 QC (silver-looks pretty much like yours minus the hard bed cover). I just added an R/T rear sway bar - Pretty hard to get those tires to break loose on corners now...lots-o-fun.
Does anybody live in/near the Boston area? Ive seen some pretty nice daks rolling around town...

Message: OC, you're spot-on. I love these tires. My truck corners 10 times better because it doesn't feel like the truck is about to fold over onto the sidewall and collapse the whole tire. I just got 'em aligned about 30 minutes ago and my truck is riding great.
Now if my 4.10s would just hurry up and get here I can fix that little problem of not being able to break these things loose.

Message: You need to find a website online that will host the pictures, such as www.imagestation.com
You then upload your pictures from your computer to the website.
Then, you have to link the picture from the host website to this website using this template:
img src="YOUR IMAGE ADDRESS"
The above line needs to be enclosed in these brackets < and > with no spaces between the bracket and the img and the " The reason I didn't add the < and > to the above line is because the computer will try to show a picture that doesn't exist, and it would look like this
The line, YOUR IMAGE ADDRESS will be an actual web address link to the your actual picture hosted online.
For example, I'll google up a picture here (hopefully this will work).
http://www.rogersgifs.com/clipart/baseball.gif
That is the web address of a picture. That link, if you copy and paste it into your address bar will take you directly to the picture.
Now, insert that address into the template and you get:
Confused yet?
The easiest way to practice is to try and post one of the smile faces above the area where you type. Right click on a smile face and find its address.
For instance, the smile face is:
http://www.dodgedakota.net/amb/icons/smile.gif
Now, try posting that picture in a message. It'll help you get the hang of it.

Message: That is a nice front facia. Very clean, but still distinctive from the stock one. I think the (now older style) Durangos came with a fully painted front facia. Why they didn't just put that on all the Dakotas is beyond me.
Got any future plans for your truck worth mentioning?
