 Subject: What is this MSD tool?

I purchased a set of MSD 8.5mm wires and in the box was a short blue piece of plastic with 8 plastic rings on it with the numbers 1-8. It's almost like a counter you'd see on the end of a pool table. The entire piece is only about 5 inches long. One end is shaped somewhat like a shallow spoon, while the other end comes to a stubby point. The included paperwork says nothing about it.
Any ideas?

It's a tool to insert the numbered rings on the applicable wire. Slip the desired ring up the spoon, now put the wire in the spoon part and slide the ring down the tool over the wire. The tool "opens" the ring without breaking it. Hope this helps
