Subject: Moog ball joints IP: Logged
Message: I need to replace the ball joints on my '97 5.2L 4x4 and have searched around a bit. The only selection I've found is Moog. Are they the best (only?) choice for replacement parts? Is there much of a difference between one brand and another?
Also, I'm at about 100K miles and need to change out the shocks (Bilstein?) as well. I'm considering a 3" lift for the future. Would there be much benefit to performing all of this work at the same time?
A bit unrelated, but does someone have a pic of their Dak with a 3" lift (Rancho?) and 33's?
Thanks!

Message: I just bought replacements for my '97 Dakota. Uppers were Dana/Spicer and lowers were Moogs. All had grease fittings. Check out www.rockauto.com for a good deal on these.
