Message: Hey-
01 Quad Cab 4x4, when I drive I can feel on my feet through the floor board a bump. Doesn't always happen but on a slightly rough road I can feel it while driving. Feels like something is hitting on the floor board. I dont feel anything in the steering wheel and no sqeeks.
Ideas? Sway bar, ball joints...........

Message: What you're feeling is described all over these boards as the Dodge Thud or the Dodge Clunk. It seems to be a standard feature on every Dodge. Could be anything from ball joints to tie rods to control arms to a loose bolt. Good luck trying to get the dealer to duplicate the problem!

Message: There's a TSB on the torsion bar bracket. That may be it.

Message: and says, I suppose that is why it is also felt on 2X4's that don't use torsion bar suspension, right? the torsion bar bracket that does not exist on those vehicles is causing the problem,, use your thinker booob
