Subject: Manual Transmission Oil Level IP: Logged
Message: I have an '02 4.7 V8 with a 5 speed manual tranny. Is there a dipstick to check the transmission fluid level with the manual? I've looked everywhere and don't see one, but maybe it's covered in dirt and grime.
Thanks...

Message: I suposse your talking about the NV3500. I had a tranny fluid question not to long ago so I looked in the manual and came up with this.
From the manual (03'):
"Fill transmision to bottom edge of fill plug with Mopar Transmission Lubricant or equivalent."
the fill plug is on the right side.

Message: So the plug is on the right hand side of the actual transmission? So you have to go under to pull the plug to check the level I guess?
