Message: Has anyone had experience with what appears to be a front end end rattle or clunking occuring only when making a right turn on slightly rough road. This noise has been present for about 6 months and becoming increasingly more noticeable as time goes on. I've been under my truck numerous times trying to find the problem; I've even unloaded the torsion bars and checked for play. Everything seems tight and yet it sounds like the front end might drop out on one of these turns.

Message: Try checking your lower A-Arms to see if there is any wear on them from the steering stops.
I just took my 2K1 CC (83K miles) in because I thought the ball joints were failing... all of the noises and problems (tire wear, alignment, clunking, etc.) were occuring.
Turns out the ball joints are fine (upper and lower). My shocks were bad and that is what caused my mis-alignment and tire wear. The clunking was once again the steering stops hitting the A-Arms. Put some grease on the backside of the steering stop and some on the groove that is being made on the lower A-Arm and that should stop it.
Hope that helps!

Message: A while back I read a TSB on that. Seems to be a design flaw in the torsion bar mounting bracket. The TSB said to replace them if the customer complained of a rattle. Check in to that, as I can't remember what years were affected.
