Hello. This is my first post here. I have a question. I just put 4 15x8 589s on my 1995 Dakota Ext. Cab. I have a 2'' body lift and 31x10.50s. Problem is my tires hit the front spoiler and the back side of the fender. I can fix the front rubbing by trimming the spoiler, and im hoping i can fix the fender rub by turning the torsion bars up a bit. anybody else have this happen? What do you guys think?

I have a 94. First, i am having similar problems. Although i have done nothing yet. I have 32x11.50 tires on 15x8 589s. If you find anything out let me know at lil_dude_9_2000@yahoo.com. I am desperate to get these tires on. Also i was wondering how hard it was to install that body lift. What type is it? and were you able to lift the front bumper with stock bumper brackets?

If you bought thr Eagle 589's with 3 1/2 backspace you're screwed. You need to buy the american racing Baja with 5" backspace....those are the correct ones

My body lift is a proformance accessories lift. real easy to intsall, but i had serious problems with the tranny lines and had to fabricate longer ones. i lifted both bumpers without any brackets. i just egged aout the holes. it looks very stock looking with a nice lift to it. i think my wheels are 3 1/4 back space. the front rub will be easily fixed with a dremmel, but thr bubing on the mud flap and inner fender concern me. how much are the torsion bars bein turned gonna help there?

Well i would assume that cranking the torsion bars would help. All i can say is i cant wait to finish this project and extremely appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

What i am thinking about doing is putting a 4 inch body lift and making bumper brackets. I am worried about the apearance of the truck than however. Anyways, I dont know much about them so i will just throw it in here what about a block lift and then cranking th torsion bars?
