Subject: Bushwacker vs. OEM fender flares IP: Logged
Message: I'm looking to buy some fender flares for my 00 CC and have been looking at the Bushwacker Street Flares and the OEM flares. I've read some posts where there has been some problems with the OEM flares pulling away from the fender. Is that just an isolated problem or are lots of you guys seeing it? Has anyone had any problems with the Bushwackers?

Message: There's really no difference besides the high price for the OEM's. I put a set of aftermarket on my 97 and my '00 came with the OEM flares and they look pretty darn close

Message: I just installed the factory flares. Easy to install and look great. Only $220 from the dealer. Call around if you want the factory flares. Prices ranged from $220-$250.

Message: Ive got factory flares on my 98 with 121,000miles..i think they are starting to pull away in a couple places possibly, but its so little i cant honestly say. There is just a small gap between the flare and the body. All i would need to do is pull them off and retape them with the 3m automotive tape and they would be good as new.
