Subject: slow drivers..... IP: Logged
Message: After many years of painstaking research and overtime, I have finally been able to classify "slow drivers" in one of 3 categories:
1) the middle-aged woman in a minivan or suburban
2) the older guy in an old beat-up truck with a camper shell, wearing a fishing hat (sometimes has a Purple Heart license plate)
3) the group of older couples out on the town in a Cadillac, usually the men in the front seats and the women in the back seats
I cannot think of any more....

Message: Addendum/rider to the first post:
1) the middle-aged woman or soccer mom in a minivan or suburban trying to talk on the cell phone, keep the kids under control and put on a fresh coat of lipstick on the way so soccer practice, prone to double lane changes and/or turning with no turn signal...
2) the older guy in an old beat-up truck with a camper shell (me in 40 yrs), wearing a fishing hat (sometimes has a Purple Heart license plate), the AAA 50 year member sticker on the trunk or bumper is optional, usually uses turn signal, but starts the blinker AFTER starting the turn...
3) the group of older couples out on the town in a Cadillac, usually the men in the front seats and the women in the back seats. These seem to be the folks who seem not to see stoplights or other motor vehicle signs. Of course they ALWAYS drive cars that exceed 6000 GVW therfore they are safe in a collision, but they kill the folks in the other car! The AAA 50 year member sticker on the trunk or bumper is NOT optional!

Message: An old guy with a purple heart license plate got his purple heart fighting for you so he can drive as slow as he wants.
They should have purple heart parking spots like handicap spots.

Message: Me. Sometimes, when I'm on the strip and feel the need to show the ride. So you can start the 4th class of slow drivers, 20-somethings.

Message: In my experience, women in SUV's in particular are some of the most dangerous drivers out there. The big trucks give them a sense of power or something. However, the above mentioned middle-aged. Most of the women I see are a bit younger, many with children though.
They are not as crazy as men pickup/SUV drivers because I see men ready to kill another human being for cutting them off or passing them.
And to add to the list of slow drivers, some Taxi drivers are really slow.
