Just read that dodge ram srt set a new world record for fastest pickup 154 mph.What i found disturbing is the fact that these trucks are made in mexico.a german owned company and a pickup made in mexico .these trucks should be called imports nothing american about them at all.does anyone know where the dakota's are made?if they are made in mexico could explain all the problems.i have always tried to buy american made vehicles this is distubing news to me.

Take any "American" made truck apart and you'll find more than half of the parts are imported reguardless of where its assembed. A Nissan made in Mississippi is as AMerican as the Dakota from Michigan or Toyota from Tennessee or a Ram from Mexico. Its a world economy, give it up.
