My Dak has a 2.5L four banger... I would like to put a 5.9L 8cyl in her. it's a 1998 sport, 5 speed manual, RWD. Is this little opperation even possible??? Please help!!!

Since that model of truck came from the factory with the engine you want, I'd have to say it's not only possible but very probable.
How much ca$h are you willing to spend? It's going to take about $5000.00 for engine, transmission, wiring/computers, rear axle, driveshaft, plus a few extras I've most likely forgotten.
But good luck, if you scrounge and beg you might be able to pull it off for way less.

come on, there is a million of these trucks around with the power package you want. sell the 4banger and buy one with the v8. easier, faster, cheaper
