IP: Logged

Message:
I changed my thermostat out this weekend and when i put the coolant in it, it was leaking. So I tightend the bolts more, the bottom just popped and kept spinning and i pulled it straight out. Can this be re-threaded or what can i do to fix it. Please help!

Well, hate to say it, but you probaby snapped it off in the block. Or maybe stipped it, then a helacoil might work.

Pull the housing, take a look, hopefully, there's something to grab, if not, maybe a drill and EZout would help.

Good luck
